This policy explains what personal data Tam Coc Boat Ride (“we”), Van Lam, Nam Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam, collects through tamcocboatride.com and WhatsApp, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. What we collect
- Booking details you give us: name, email, WhatsApp number, tour date, group size, hotel for pickup, and any notes such as dietary needs or mobility limits.
- Payment information, handled by the card and PayPal processors at checkout, used both for payments in full and for the 30% deposit. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Technical data your browser sends to any website, such as IP address and browser type, kept in our host’s server logs.
2. Why we use it
To confirm and run your tour, to take payment, to answer your questions, and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails.
3. Who we share it with
Only what each person needs to run your day: your guide, your driver and our licensed partner operator receive your name, group size, pickup hotel, date and any special needs. If you chose to pay the balance in cash, your guide is also told the amount still due. Payment processors receive what they need to take the payment. We share nothing else unless the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
5. Where it is kept
The site runs on servers operated by our web hosting provider. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to [email protected] and we reply within 30 days.
